Marcia Heister Wilcox, Esq. is a Certified Master Coach. After a successful twenty-five year career in the practice of law, Marcia started her coaching practice with Altman Weil, a premier consulting firm to the legal community. She subsequently created her own private coaching practice, Halyard Coaching, expanding her clientele to include executives.
For more than fifteen years Marcia has provided executive coaching services to many leaders in a variety of business and legal environments. Corporate clients have ranged from Fortune 50 and 300 companies to mid sized companies and entrepreneurs. Law firm clients span multiple AmLaw 200 firms to midsized regional and boutique firms. In each of these engagements, Marcia works one on one with successful executives and attorneys to help them identify new goals and implement strategies to accomplish them, using proven and pragmatic coaching methodologies.
Marcia has enjoyed a career succeeding in leadership positions in both business and law. She served as General Counsel in large publicly traded companies and private entrepreneurial companies, after starting her private practice of law in both a national and regional firm.
Marcia received her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law, where she was an editor on law review. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from Hood College. She has been designated a Certified Master Coach by the Behavioral Coaching Institute and is a member of the International Coaching Council.
